Red wattled Lapwing
This bird is popular for its call that sounds like DID HE DO IT. In 2008, I made this drawing because I was fascinated by its call.

Northern Pintail
I think that this was drawn by me in 2015 when I saw a number of Northern Pintails in and around Delhi

Hoopoe
In Sultanpur bird sanctuary, I walked behind this bird as it was moving slowly forward. I love the fanned crown and such a fabulous bird, it is known as Hoopoe, by the sound of its call. I drew this somewhere in 2018, I guess

Purple Heron
Purple Heron, actually I never saw it in the colour its name is known for. But the colour is more or less brownish with darks trip in the neck. Standing tall, this bird was watched by me for about 30 minutes, I guess that it is in Najafgarh, that I decided to draw the bird sketch, perhaps in 2017 .

Mahatma Gandhi
During Covid period, I had completely read Mahatma’s autobiography and was motivated to draw him. Perhaps, I have never been inspired by any other book to that extent like this book. Well, I guess that it was in 2013, that I drew this sketch
